CX HKG office (telephone sales) strictly enforcing SITI rule...
I am in Vancouver Canada and can have my OWE tickets issued in Vancouver at the ex-Canada price.

However, whenever I try calling CX's HKG office and ask for fare information, they claim that they can only give me the ex-HKG price and that if I need the ex-YVR price I will have to call the YVR office (which is not convienient for me after coming home from work and they are closed).

It seems like that the CX has instructed their agents not to give OWE fare information for trips originating (and ticketed) in another country.

Can anyone confirm?
