Not really black listed, but AMEX wasn't accepting the transactions because their 'smart' anti-fraud systems thought that spending 5 digit figure with an airline within the space of few minutes was fraudulent.

After a long wait on the phone, this was cleared and I was able to book again. The let down was EK's slow booking engine that sometimes loses the plot, times out or even churns out a ridiculous fare.
