Well, I "have" aquite a few airlines, not just DL, and having actually flown UA in F, I can tellyou that it is quite mediocre when compared to other airlines F product. You sir have no historical measurement, and totally ignore the fact that different airlines operate in different cycles. When DL introduced BE in 1998 it was in fact a "half" Firstclass product, the seat was so far ahead of UA, AA, BA, AF, KL, IB, CX, SQ and pretty much everyone else's Biz seat that it was not even funny. What then of course happened is that between 2000 and 2005 many other airlines upped their game, so some came out with "superior" Biz products, mostly through the institution of lay flat seats, however I used "" as superior because as we all know many of the flat at an angle seats introduced were not that popular with PAX. Also during this perios, as stated above some airlines eliminated F on some or all of their routes. Yes toward the end of the last decade, close to a decade after other airlines started improving their product, UA did so as wll, so they are ahead using certain matrices, that being said, last I looked now that you guys have come together with CO, about half your long hauil fleet has no F, and in fact has a BF product which is slightly worse than BE, and yes I am aware that UA made a bunch of announcements two days ago, we'll see how that goes.
