Would love a bonus incentive to upgrade from green to premier rewards gold. I've had green for more than a decade and have a good record with Amex. How to bring on the bonus offer? If I simply ask politely, could that work? Any tips?

FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: I'm planning to ask for an upgrade bonus from green to PRG. Long shot, I know, but what's better odds, asking over the phone or by secure message?
