Does anyone know if the CRJ 700 (CR7) bins are 'still' smaller than other Eagle bins? (It's been a while but I recall, perhaphs incorrectly, that AE added first to this aircraft not too long ago so may have modified the overhead bins as well.)

I'm travelling in first from BOS - JFK (with an onward mainline connection) and am trying to determine if I should plan on checking, gate-checking, carrying-on or otherwise (usually, I carry-on.) (Yes, I carry-on, but not to the extent of being thrown off an aircraft!)

My bag fits in every AA mainline aircraft overhead bin.
