I would recommend Qantas since their plan is as generous as AA and some even say that it is more generous. You could also apply for a QF mileage credit card (ANZ/QF VISA card) and pick it up while visiting OZ where you earn 2 QF points per every $A 1.00 (US$0.50) you spend in the rest of the world.
