If it helps, I just returned from the Hyatt in Cancun; if I remember correctly, they have seven Regency Suites, and exactly one each of the (much) larger Eternity and Infinity suites. I'm not sure of your chances at an upgrade, but the Regency Suite was very comfortable in itself - be sure to ask for one with a view looking south, if available!
