I just really hope they don't change the levels--those hoping to hit the big #'s, like 3MM or 4MM have spent many, many years working towards those goals.

I canimagine it would have much of an operational impact to say that 3MM gets 1K (orequilivant) for life and 4MM gets GS (or equilivant) for life.

This certainly gives you an incentive to remain loyal to the company.

Full disclosure: I am close to 3MM BIS miles on UA and wuill be very unhappy if I don't get the 1K for life that I ahve worked for over 20 years to obtain.
