Correct on both counts, however May and September are nice as well. Rates at this hotel are closely related to predicted occupancy: it often comes up for €99 in the offseason (when the exec lounge is usually closed), but never for summer, even during Hilton's January sales.
On a nice day, the area is pleasant year-round, with snow-capped mountains making for a different backdrop in the offseason; however cloudy and foggy days are more numerous then.
Weather is very similar to Geneva's (and Lausanne just across the lake), both being on the lake and the same side of the Alps, which dictate weather patterns in the area.
