The property looks great and the reviews in this thread are indeed helpful. I'm wondering, when is the best time of year to visit in terms of weather and crowds (by which I mean whether the hotel if very full and the town crowded with tourists, if that's a consideration). I would assume June-August would be nicest in terms of weather and the long days, and that August would be most crowded due to holidays in France. But if I'm wrong on those counts and/or if the town never gets overly crowded, I'd be glad to know.

Also, in terms of tracking weather and climate on websites, is Geneva close enough so that's it's usually the same as Evian-les-Baines? Or do different locations on the lake make for different weather patterns? If so, are there better cities to check for similar weather?
