A hybrid programme:
Passenger A has 700,000 CO lifetime and 600,000 UA BIS Lifetime.
Passenger A has to fly 300,000 miles for Lifetime Silver and when he flies 400,000 UA/CO BIS he gets lifetime Gold.
Passenger has B has 1,200,000 CO lifetime and 300,000 UA BIS Lifetime
Passenger B has Lifetime Silver and needs to fly 700,000 CO/UA BIS to get Gold
Passenger C has 50,000 CO Lifetime and 950,000 UA BIS Lifetime
Passenger C has to fly 50,000 UA/CO BIS to get lifetime Gold
THIS SOLVES EVERYONES ISSUE passengers that were on track at UA keep going to what they were going for and same for CO passengers.. seriously how hard could this be to implement. They're going to lose the passenger like the one that will end the year at 950,000 because UA just screwed him after all these years.
That stinks for passenger B who needed 800,000 miles for Gold, which are easier to get than 700,000 BIS on UA/CO.

If UACO does jerk Gold away and change to 1MM = lifetime Silver, I very much sympathize with not only those who like myself have already attained
1MM, but also with those of you that are so very close.
What a screw job that "enhancement" would be.

They will not take it away, just like lifetime PC members will retain membership in UC.
