If you do take the 6 to the E, you obviously want to board the first car of the 6, if possible. Also, take note that during the afternoon/evening rush hour, some Queens-bound E trains go to 179th Street/Hillside Avenue, rather than Parsons/Archer/Jamaica Center. Only the trains destined for Parsons/Archer/Jamaica Center stop at Sutphin/Archer/JFK station. Check the train's destination sign before boarding.
