+1 - I haven't flown or cared about US Airways for years. AA has my loyalty and I have only flown other airlines when forced to on company travel. After AA, my prefered domestic carriers are usually

  • Southwest

Yet the emerging details of the US Airways Grand Slam promo are so interesting that I am seriously considering going for the max on this (which would include, I believe, buying some kind of status with them).

I suppose this is really about miles and upgrades again, so I'm probably off topic. I just want to emphasize how powerfully attractive a good promotion can be.
