I requalified for PM this weekend.

In the past I have always gifted silver status as my choice gift to Mrs. Reds, but this year she will make FO and possibly gold on her own due to an increase in her flying.

I don't value 20,000 RDMs as much as a $200 DL voucher, so that choice benefit is also something I am not going to pick.

The SWUs sound like a great benefit but I have read that they can't be used on L,U or T fares. Typically I take one trip a year to Europe and the rest of my flying is domestic with my longest trip this year being DTW/SFO and DTW/LAX and the majority of my flight originate or end at MSP. Most of my fares are lower end economy fares as well. It is also my underestanding I can't use the SWU's when booking a flight. If my info on this is wrong, please let me know.

I can't find a lot of detail on delta.dumb about the fine print on SWU's. Based on my flying habits mentioned above am I better off choosing the SWU's or going with the $200 flight credit. As I mentioned gifting FO really provides no benefit anymore, and seeing I don't value 20,000 RDMs at $200, I would be better off getting a gift card/Delta credit than going with that miles option.
