I think it depends on your headphones. I'm using a pair of Senheiser PXC450s, and got advice from someone on here a while back...although the cowling in J appears not to fit with the two pronged adapter at first, a good backhand or a club with the fist does it every time for my headphones.

As for F class, I can get my own headphones going in all seats on 77A and 74A except 4D on 74A, where there is a smaller custom headphone cubby on the right side of the seat. I recently had that realization on 74A, fortunately the cabin wasn't full so I just moved seats. The whole headphone storage area has an extremely narrow clearance, and despite my best efforts bashing the two pronged adapter in it is about 1/4 of an inch too wide.
