Are you joking about the Coke Light/Diet Coke thing?
The only difference is that they try to make them to the same recipe but in different countries. Coke Light used to be called Diet Coke but some or other EU resolution decreed that it may not be called Diet Coke on account of drinking 3 litres of it with a dozen cheeseburgers doesn't constitute a "diet"

So if you are saying that can tell a difference betwixt the two, then logically you previously ought to have been able to tell the difference between Diet Coke and Diet Coke.
