Yeah, that was a horrible, scary mess. I can't imagine going 7 hours without a Coke Zero! You know, you can figure out in advance if a scheduled aircraft has the little screens or only the big screens. You could then adjust your expectations or perhaps book a different flight with the amenities you want.
