The lounge access on full-service properties is worth it alone. If you travel internationally MR gold (and plat) has free internet access overseas as well (Which they can REALLY add up. For example I was at London 2 months ago, the Marriott I stayed at charges 12.95 *pounds* per day for Internet, that's 21 USD per day)
