GPS isn't really needed in much of NZ, often there is only 1 road! Quite easy to get around, and even the "big" towns such as ZQN are only a couple of dozen streets. As for price, far cheaper on eBay in the US, just be sure to get an unlocked tri or quad-band GSM phone.
