This is over the last year:
Sheraton: 25% stays, 25% nights
Aloft: 19% stays, 22% nights
W: 19% stays, 16% nights
Westin: 19% stays, 9% nights
Le Meridien: 13% stays, 22% nights
Four Points: 6% stays, 6% nights
I would definitely consider myself a Westin kind of guy, though. Nice enough to make me feel comfortable, but not too much to make me feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I did not really figure this out until later on.
Future pre-booked stays include two Westins (WDW Swan, Orlando Imagine), a Luxury Collection (Royal Hawaiian), a St. Regis (Atlanta, Princeville), a Le Meridien (LPM/Manhattan), and an Aloft (Birmingham). I used to like the idea of the W hotels (and I still do), but they sometimes remind me of how I felt when I once visited a Kenneth Cole outlet store. I recently cancelled a planned trip to the Westin Poinsett in Greenville, SC after realizing the would-be fun trip to see the Clemson-Auburn game was ruined by the idea of a noon kickoff.
