Dave, with all due respect, every time I travel AA in J from the South Pacific to Europe I get 100,000-120,000 miles. It may not be enough to renew my Platinum in one hit (due to Q-points) but it certainly buys me enough miles to get a free biz flight to Europe! Also, CX and BA are a lot better in J than QF IMHO.
