If this is the case, then the front desk staff has a core responsibility to make this clear to each club floor guest upon check-in. Guests should NOT have to guess at how club floor benefits work.

It used to be that this property issued coupons at the desk at check-in for appetizers/drinks when the club lounge was closed. I think that's still how it should work.
