Security checks galore. Recent BLR-JFK experience

Recent experience at BLR, to JFK
  1. As you approach the airport, the gun totting sentry at the threshold constriction eyes you over
  2. As you enter the terminal building, CISF checks ticket and identification
  3. The airline queue director examines your ticket to guide you to the right queue
  4. Check-in agent checks tickets & identification
  5. Immigration authorities check boarding card and identification
  6. Sentry checks immigration stamps, few feet from immigration, before letting you get screened
  7. At screening, CISF check you and stamp boarding pass and carry-on tags
  8. Near the gate, boarding agent examines your boarding pass and carry on tags and guide you to the right queue
  9. At the gate enclave, the boarding agent checks identification and boarding pass
  10. Prior to the jet bridge, CISF checks boarding pass and carry-on tags
  11. Sometimes, US specific special checks on jet bridge requires emptying and repacking of carry-on(s)
  12. At the aircraft door, flight attendant checks the boarding pass to guide you to the right aisle
