Don't get my wrong, I like flying Delta. The FF benefits are subjective and here are some examples that float my boat. I'm US Silver this year and I may make Gold.
*A Silver gets to use priority security lines.
Priority boarding on *A partners. I fly UA/CO quite a bit.
Standby fee waived on US Scare flights.
Priority standby on *A partners.
If I recall in 2010, DL did not offer priority check in to Silver. I see they do now. I go to ATL about five times per year and found that to be inconvenient on Friday afternoons.
