While this thread touches upon the topic of DXB turnaround, I wanted to get your gracious opinions on my upcoming routing;

After an exhausting week of work, I will embark on the next chapter of my OWE4 itinerary that starts from JFK-LAX ( 6 hours lay over, probably lunch with friends)then on to LHRx-DXB-LHRx-MXP-LHRx-HKGx-BKK.

I have planned of a quick DXB turnaround but then a thought came across that this is my first voyage into the world or arabian knights or sultans. Should I spend a night at a dessert oasis just for the experience of being there and away from it all? Or do you suggest that I do quick turnaround and spend an extra night in MXP??

Incidentally, those six star hotels on the Dubai coast do not really appeal to me.

Your experience or suggestions are kindly appreciated.
