Several months back Mrs & I were on UA LAX/LHR in C using SWUs. Flt took a 24 hr delay due to mechanical. UA kept us in C on next day's flt, even though there was no XC. At same time a couple that had "paid" for C with UFC were denied C seats on the new flt. I assume their status was <1K, but they were loudly honking about how they had "paid" for their C seats. Their agent responded they had a coach ticket, and UFC was not available on this flt. It will be v interesting to see how this situation would be resolved under the new regime. Based on early indicators I am not as hopeful....
