talked to aa rtw desk a bit ago. she confirmed that zones & continents are the same, but said that areas are [perhaps roughly] are asia &australia & pacific islands, north & south america, & europe & africa. i am contemplating on it. also said that brochures are not available. also said that europe and africa area is the province of ba.[ makes sense to me]. can't remember which area is which but think that you have to do all your travel in one area before going to another. was suggested that i check www.oneworldalliance.com in lieu of brochure. am going there after dinner..... as an aside was told that in steerage on ib, the only aa mi's you get are 30% for trans atlantic. i asked if we get none for lpa-mad? ans was none.
