In the US, it isn't that expensive but here in the UK, they charge the same in pounds as they do in dollars in the US... for example, a typical plaid shirt from A&F is $79- in the UK it is £79...
Hollister are much better (in London anyway- the Liverpool store is much pricier) and they charge £40 for a shirt, £30 for a polo, £35 for a pair of jeans (excellent quality), £20 for a t-shirt, £30-40 for a hoodie etc etc.
And they always have a sale rack, you can sometimes pick up t-shirts for £12.50!
