Well, 99.9% of CX flights require a stop in HKG (I would say 100%, but when making claims of this sort, I've often found that there is an obscure tag that proves the exception), but JL flies from PEK to Tokyo (HND/NRT) and from TYO to JFK, LAX, ORD?, SFO, and YVR. Tokyo isn't much out of the way; in fact most flights between LAX/SFO/YVR and PVG overfly it (both directions).
