Slightly OT, but I'll be there in Jan. I note it's the wet month in the year....are we talking Mumbai style rains where it wont stop for days, or in a typical day is it sun with a quick, but heavy shower like in Singapore? Does it actaully work as a city to sit by the pool for 2 days in Jan?
The weather in Jakarta is similar to Singapore, ie hot and humid most of the days. I don't recall it ever rain non-stop for days.
