As for Castello, once again I have to agree with you. This use to be my go to place at the Springs, food was good and usually we have a group 6-12 so it gives everyone options for price point too. They have never added mandatory gratuity on large tables which is classy and if service is good the tip is always bigger then the 18% anyways.

After my last two dinners it hasn't lived up to previous experiences. About a month ago I went there with a group and the carpaccio was 3 pieces rolled up in some avocado and forgot what else inside. It tasted like a Carpaccio Taquitos, total miss imho and the worst part over half the table ordered it because the previous visits it was really good and I recommended it. I guess we gotta start visiting Banffshire like Ancien
Makes it sound like we frequent the Banffshire.. but actually we've only been there once with our Doctor Family friend with 5 kids.. in the private room that looks like a wine cellar where President's, Royalty and heads of states dine..

For our kids, the BVG buffet/brunches is where its at.. but we're looking to hit the Banffshire on our next stay to try and redeem our last Passion Cert for the local Specialty dish..

Anybody use the cert for Banffshire yet?
