Good catch on that Spain - Middle East exception. I guess that means you could fly LHR - DXB - LHR - MAD - CAI - JFK using the new AA (old TW) CAI - JFK flight. Sadly it is operated by a 2 class 767 now. It is also great news that the fares did not increase from some parts of the world.

On the down side who in their right mind would consider a YYZ - LAS flight as trans-continental?

ps. Does anyone have any thoughts as when if ever we can use these fares on TW operated flights?? It seems to me that TW is functioning as a modified version of American Eagle now. In addition (according to the AA board) all TW flights will carry AA flight numbers on June 1, 2001.
