Virgin Mobile Canada operates on both Bell's older CDMA network and its newer 3g HSPA network. The CDMA network uses compatible technology withe Virgin Mobile US which operates over Sprint's network.
Prepaids don't roam across the border. Contract phones do, but you get no special deal on roaming.
