Hmm... I'd check with your corporate travel agency, as others have mentioned. Delta's domestic CoC basically says GM/PM/DM won't be involuntarily denied boarding until everyone else has been. You need to find out how the switch happened. I depend on the fact that IDB's won't affect me at PM level unless things are in dire straits.
C) INVOLUNTARY DENIED BOARDING
If an insufficient number of passengers volunteer to give up their seats in response to Delta’s offer, Delta
may involuntary deny boarding to one or more passengers on the oversold flight according to the following
boarding priority rules:
1. Passengers Holding Tickets for Travel in Premium Cabin and Skymiles Members Identified
with a Diamond Medallion (“DM”), Platinum Medallion (“PM”), or Gold Medallion (“GM”) Elite
Status Designation
Passengers holding tickets for confirmed space in the First or Business class cabin and Skymiles members
designated with a DM, PM, or GM elite status designation will be accommodated before other passengers
holding tickets and/or boarding passes for confirmed space in the coach cabin.
And of course, the next paragraph goes on to talk about those with boarding passes in hand being next priority for service in IDB situations... So, remember to print? It doesn't specify if an electronic boarding pass constitutes holding one. However, the paragraph *after* that, still says you'd get priority if you checked in online as an FO+.
