I've only ever bought up on international tix, not domestic. (And therefore, no Y/B/M-ups.) But when I buy-up, it automatically went to a Z fare, except once with no Z inventory left, and went instead to a D fare.

Does a Plat who buys-up for sure buy-up to M fare?
