1. Do a serach on Cathay section of flyertalk. It came up about 3 months ago. I will do one and post it anyway
2. There are no mileage restrictions
3. It has been around a long time, rumors abound about its demise
4. I would recommend you buy it directly from United ticketing office. You can return the ticket in USA if needed and they are very helpful. You can finalise the routing with United ask them to FAX the itinerary and take it with you. If you do not want to go to BKK then there are agents who will mail the ticket to you
