Wow, I can not believe the stories I am reading in this thread. Since I have been platinum at the beginning of this year, I have been upgraded to a suite each and every time except at a HIX where there are 100% standard rooms. I have stayed at 5 different hotels for one or two nights each in the Southern California area. One of the HI's even added a continental breakfast where I paid an extra $1.25 to upgrade to a hot breakfast. By reading the stories, I am considering myself to be SUPER lucky.
