You should have told me you were flying into Lahore, I would have told you where and what to do. Lahore is a very safe city, I know alot of people that are NOT PAKISTANI that travel there. You just have to be a little vigilant and be on guard.

Lahore is def my favourite city in Pakistan. It has alot to offer - the amazing cusine, the rich history, the many festivals, the people and of course the jolly/happy rickshaw drivers that are always there to get your everywhere! I used them more than the cars. My cousins do not understand why.. I guess travelling in cars in London is the norm and not getting to travel in rickshaws is something I love to experience all the time when I go out there.

Ps. One city you want to be careful with is Kabul. Once you leave Pakistan and enter Afganistan your on your own mate!
Yeah I love the rickshaws.. I've been to India several times and have ridden in them there.. the locals I work with think I'm crazy. The hotel in Lahore thought we were crazy too. The rickshaw drivers in Lahore seemed to be more 'honest' too than the ones in India.. didn't have to argue over the price with them.

We felt very safe our whole time in Pakistan. Most of the people we talked with were educated vs some random person of the street but they were all lamenting that investment in the country has been scared off 'by the barbarians in the hills' as they put it.
