Another bump since this features on my trip in a few weeks. Official rate is around 4.3 right now, seems the black market is 8.8 or higher....

So:

1) Can I exchange some Benjamins at CCS and get 8+?

2) Can I pay my hotel of say $100 (which they convert to VEF 430) with cash?

Any other tips/suggestions/recommendations?
