I think there is still some learning to do in all the alliances. Consistency within an airline is rare so it might be unreasonable to expect it across several airlines even within the same alliance. That doesn't mean they shouldn't try.

I agree with Canadian. A short letter outlining the problem and quoting from printed material/website might help in improving the service for others and might yield a bonus.

If so what is your take on the seamlessness of travel in both (not just for endorsement waiver)?
