The plane seemed a bit dated, and the seat cushion near the floor rest was well worn.
The service was "decent". The head purser on the flight was all business, but was not interested in making any small talk with any of the passengers. Typcially when I have flown CO BF, the flight attendants are quite friendly and interested in where you have gone, etc.
In addition, typically CO flight attendants will personally thank the folks up front, and in most cases addressing them by name.
Last night, no one said anything... I priced the flight out at around $1500. For $1500 for 4.5 hours of flying, you would think you would at least get a half way decent "thank you"
The food was nothing to write home about. In fact, the rice was very undercooked.
Just overall not what I am used to and very disappointed given that I was on my first real "F" cabin in many many years
Basically you got a slightly nicer experience than standard domestic F. Just becs. the physical metal is used on an intl route doesn't affect how UA handles the cabin service. Personally, I don't like to chat so I'm thrilled with less bother.
