The concierge lounge is located in Building 4 on the 3rd floor, near the elevator.

The best rooms to access the concierge lounge are in Building 4 on the 3rd floor. If you would like an outside view, you would want an odd number room. An example would be room 3411, it overlooks the lake and has a view of the airport grounds. Another example, room 3412 looks into the courtyard with the swimming pool. The inside facing rooms may be slightly quieter, as there is not much activity going on in the courtyard area most of the time.

Lounge opening hours:

The lounge is open 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The lounge is open from 6:30 am until 12 noon on Friday.
The lounge is closed all day Saturday.
The lounge is open from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday.

Review of my stay

Overall, the hotel was just OK, it did not seem to have enough staff as it took a long time to check-in, check out and to get help the one time I asked for it. There were no bellmen or porters, I had to get a cart to bring the luggage up to our room myself, no assistance was offered.

In fact, the only employees I saw "two or more of", were housekeepers and shuttle bus drivers. There was only one front desk person at any time, one bartender and one waitress at any time. The hotel seems to be operating with a very limited number of staff, which does not seem appropiate for a full service Marriott hotel.

The restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday, except for breakfast. All other food and beverages needed to be ordered at the bar. That did not seem right as it brought children into the bar area. If I am at a bar having an adult beverage, I usually do not want children sitting next to me.

I would think that a full service Marriott should have at least one restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. This was the most disapointing part of the stay, children in the bar and no where to eat a quiet dinner.

It was an OK stay, but I would not rush back to stay at this hotel again.

Thanks for the update! Does seem a bit weird about the restaurant.

Cheers.
