Hi Flyertalk folk

I have a boatload of BA miles and want to book a flight from London to New York. I would like to use my BA miles to book a seat on AA flight as AA only charge me taxes (~$150 for a return) vs BA who charge me taxes, fuel, various other charges (~£300). Does anyone know how I do this? Do I phone BA EC or AAdvantage?
