If you sit in 1A & 1B, there will be no space to store your bags at your feet (and if you have a bumpy ascent, you won't be able to pull down your computer or bags until the seat belt sign is turned off or the FA isn't paying close attention).

And of course no seat in front of you to maneuver around if it were leaned back. To stay in row 2, I guess it depends on the distance between the seats on this plane. If there's a lot of space between seats, I'd stay in row 2 and stash my stuff under the seats in front of you. But I've also been on a number of transcons that had normal (non-B.E.) LRTF seats up in front.
