I was waiting in the aisle two rows away from my favourite first row in ET (our company budget doesnt stretch to CE) and a besuited gent ahead of me popped his rollerbag into the one overhead space remaining above my seat and promptly wandered down to row 20-something. I did not hesitate to move his bag - across the aisle and up a few rows. I hope he had a panic attack when he went for his bag when we arrived at LHR and couldnt find it.
Not quite as interesting as another flight (with LH this time) - it was rammed to the gills on a winter's friday night and the only spare seat was the middle seat next to me (I was in a window seat). A young businesswoman had two bags and a coat, and wanted to put her larger carry-on in what would have been the legroom for that unoccupied seat ! I said "No thank you, I'm not climbing over your bag if there is an emergency - put it under the seat in front of you"....and then I got dirty looks from her and her colleagues (all a few rows away, mind - not within slapping range

) for the next 10 minutes !
