One last idea that popped into my mind is that each person can buy 24k miles a year with BA - so you and your partner could buy 48k between you. If you can use the eStore to top up another 2k miles you'd then be able to fly to (say) Japan one way in business class and one way in economy which might be a nice way of doing it ?

I believe I'm correct in saying that US members also have access to an eStore ?
