Suggest you book from ORD. UA flies ORD - GRU - EZE. You can pick this up for 175K miles in F and less than $100 in taxes. If you pay the $30 booking fee and whole lot more in taxes, you could likely add YWG - ORD on AC for the same mileage total.

Alternates include starting in IAD or EWR.

AC of course flies YYZ - EZE (via SCL I believe) but the taxes would be more than $1000 which is not worth it IMHO.

If you travel on a Canadian passport, you will need expensive visas for EZE & GRU.
