I would appreciate some clarification on this statement.

The last time I booked a trip to South America that included TAM segments ( GRU - MVD ), the TAM segments could be booked further than 90 days out IF they were part of a intercontinental itinerary. It was only internal flights within South America that were limited to the 90 day advance booking.

Has this changed ? I had a quick look for AP award tickets next spring and am not seeing any TAM availability, even on segments connecting to flights to North America.

P.S. Any update on the TAM / LAN merger, and what impact that will have on TAM's relationship with *A ? I haven't been following this issue.
