I reckon they looked into it, saw it was a BMI redemption in F and realised I was 'cheap' so bought me a wine to match!

Seems utterly crazy that the complaint was handled in the UK yet the wine came by courier from Germany. Am sure it'll be supped away in due course but I suppose the LH branded cork screw will let me recount the tail of the event in FRA and the cheap wine selection at dinner parties for many years to come.
