on my recent rtw, i bravely(or stupidly)tried putting in ff numbers on every segment. the program that was the most proficient in posting correctly- 10 for 10 in fact, was cx!!! aa was only 4 of 6, and the two flights i had problems with were the ones, after talking to check in, the admirals club, and the platinum desk, couldn't get the ff number to print on the boarding pass. the other four with the number boldly printed on them were ok. qf was the worst - of my six flights, only two posted correctly, those two being after the 8/31 end date of the promotion. of the errant postings, all of them posted directly to my aa acount, so getting them removed, and transferred to trhe right account shouldn't be a problem. la seems to be right on top of the matter, i'll keep you up to date on the rest as its resolved.

guy besty - that agent gave you a line of bull!!! i changed numbers 5 times throughout the 10 flights with no problems at all. and this was throughout the route system, not just in hkg.
